Dean is a chartered Architect with over a decade of professional experience. He studied at the Leeds School of Architecture, the University of Sheffield, and the University of Cambridge. He is a registered member of both the ARB and RIBA, serves as Co-president of the York Architectural Association, sits on the York Design Awards committee, and teaches at the York School of Architecture. Dean recently co-founded Bartlett | Mettham Architects to reframe the way existing buildings are valued. Guided by the belief that architecture is an act of care, capable of sustainably reinventing spaces for people, purpose, and place.
